Rekordbox export very slow

My rekordbox is taking ages to export and when the export takes place the program keeps intermittently freezing. I had this issue a while back however an update of the software did the trick in fixing it. I just performed another update and now i'm back to the same issues i was having before.

I'll also direct you to this video where I discuss the export speeds of various USB devices; it could be your USB drive is just a very low-speed write device.
