TORAIZ AS-1 Freezing

when the ARP/HOLD buttons are ON

If it's set to sync to external clock, it's waiting for a clock signal to activate the ARP. No clock = no sound.

It IS receiving clock signal from DJS1000 via Elektron Analog Heat (thru output). It is WHILE playing that it completely freezes crashes and no button, key, pot or pad will work again. It has to be turned off and on again for playback to resume.

Try just a clock source directly in to the AS-1. Remove the other potential variables.

@Wolf Are you experiencing MIDI Sync/timing issues with the AS-1 too?

@Chino: BPM MIDI sync actually works seamlessly. AS-1 receives it from DJS-1000 THRU an FX/distortion unit (which syncs directly from DJS-1000). I occasionally have to press [TAP//RESTART SEQ] on AS-1, but it works just fine for live playing, as I am no stranger to beatmatching by hand/ear.

@MidnightMusicClub: The ituation persists even with all variables removed. I get the feeling it's a matter of internal resonance/feedback protection, triggered maybe by the simultaneous use of [HOLD] and [ARP]? Thanks.
