New S9 User w/ MAJOR issue

Ok, so i took my s9 out to the club for the 1st time last night. After playing for 1hr w/ zero issues I started having a major latency issue, the response from the turntable kept feeling more & more off. Then BOOM, serato completely crashed & was left w/ a full dance floor watching me frantically reboot serato & get the music going again ...... any ideas or has anyone had a similar issue ?
