Sorry guys, seems to be an issue with the server; we're trying to get it sorted!
Hi,
After updating to 5.8, I'm getting a recurring pop-up: "User authentication error - Enter your email address and your password which you used when registering "KUVO".
I did recently change the email address associated with my Pioneer DJ account, so that may be what's causing the pop-up, but here's the thing- I don't want to use KUVO. Is there a way that I can prevent this authentication attempt? Can I cancel my KUVO account (that I didn't know I had)? If not, do I just need to sign in again? Will it attempt to connect when I'm offline (actually performing)?
Rekordbox 5.8.0, OSX 10.13.4

KUVO is legacy; it's still your Pioneer DJ account - just login using that and it will work.
Is there any way I can disable this feature? Also, will it attempt to authenticate while offline?
It only needs to authenticate once unless you have a subscription license, in which case it checks-in monthly.
The KUVO option is in the preferences:
That'll do. Thanks!
I am having issues with the Kuvo Login after the most recent update . . . I'm logged in online with my Pioneer DJ account and have reset my password, restarted Rekordbox multiple times, connected to wifi, logged in and out successfully of my Pioneer account online but the KUVO popup persists in rekordbox with the error message (see screenshot) . . . not sure what to do if this is my Pioneer DJ account then why is KUVO authentication not working? Please help I need to use it for a gig today . . .
I am having the same problem
@ Ron Bennion, since about 15 minutes ago I'm having the same problem. Did the same as you in order to fix it but no result so far.
I am having the exact same problem as well. I also noticed that when i hit cancel, the software works BUT all of my track analysis seems to be gone.I see it in the browser, but when I load a track it tells me there is no beat grid. I re-run the track analysis and the KUVO authentication error pops back up.
the log file says
"Failed to compare nxs file error = 18"
I'm also having this error, continously. It doesn't accept my Pioneer login and pops up every time I open a track!
Incidentally, the KUVO option no longer appears to be in the Preferences under Advanced > Others
Pioneer, is there a way to revert to a previous version so we can get rolling for our gigs this weekend? Need something ASAP
I have the same problem...
Hey guys! I am havning the same issue. If you have a gig tonight just switch off the wifi of your laptop so you don't get the pop up notification. I hope this will be usefull for you!
I see it under my Advanced>Others but it made no difference, still get the pop ups

Similar problem
On my Mac the setting for Kuvo is under Advanced > Browse, but its turned off anyway.
Turning off Wifi is an issue if you're streaming your set (as I play on an internet radio station)
Same problem here.
Same problem. Come on Pioneer!
Same here.
1.300€ on a DDJ-1000 received this week and just after turn it on for first time I cant even mix two songs...
Come on, man! Turning KUVO off in preferences does not fix the authentication problem.
It wants to authenticate every time I add a track to the collection.
I've never used KUVO and do not want to anyway.
Pioneer urgently solve the problem !!!!
