Djm v10

I have 2 problems I have downloaded the new firmware update 1.04. The mixer is running 1.03 but it will not accept the new update and shows a message error-e1....the mixer is working fine generally however my other issue is with Dj rec app and Facebook livestream....
The audio is showing in the rec app so I hit Facebook live button it opens facebook to stream and the problem is that the sound cuts out when streaming just seams to glitch out for a second but every 5 to 10 seconds so it’s obviously very annoying ..... I’m going to stream using phono leads and a trrs adaptor from the line out but these issues need to be looked at
Just for clarity the Dj rec app is recording audio fine and can be uploaded to Mixcloud etc fine and I am using an iPhone 8plus

I'm going to suggest that maybe the firmware issue is related to the audio cut-outs in the DJM-REC streaming, but as that seems problematic, I'm going to suggest you please file an inquiry ticket here and our support team can gather some additional information and escalate this to our engineers for review.

UPDATE.... just did a lot of testing today....the Facebook livestream audio problem is solved!!! Wow...it just needed to be turned down!!! I had it at 0db which was still in the green and usual level for recording audio....turned it down to -15db and -20db and tried wav 44.1 and aac 320.... turns out livestream only needs a low signal and is defo best in wav but it is now fantastic and perfect.....very happy man!!!!
Just the firmware update needs sorting but t b fair my mixer is working perfect and streaming etc so not bothered about firmware issues etc
Could it be that I’m still on a 2011 MacBook Pro on mountain lion??? Just a thought

It's possible that the firmware update won't happen because your USB drive wasn't formatted FAT32 with Master Boot Record (MBR), or that you downloaded the firmware zip with Safari and it corrupted the binary.

It is fat 32 as I deleted the content on the usb and chose fat32 and I tested the usb by doing a firmware update on my Cdj 2000nxs2’s. Both decks worked fine with the usb memory stick but the v10 just wouldn’t do
It ... deleted the download and tried at least 5 times and again in the morning .... did it all as described holding the correct buttons at. And then putting the usb stick in but just no joy....anyway the mixer works amazing and the
Livestream is quality now so u guys can work on it and I’m gonna concentrate on enjoying the mixer and having fun and will look out for new updates. If I have problems in the future I will message again

Just tried it again... turn on holdingbeat fx on/off and frequency mid button I get the screen that shows the version and then plug the usb and wait and the error code comes up every time... am I doing something wrong....again thankfully the mixer is working perfect so it’s no big issue anymore but look forward to knowing the fix... ps best mixer inthe world... just love it so much fun to play on..

Just a heads-up that there is a new firmware that was announced today, but there's no major changes.

Just recorded a mix into DJ rec app works great only issue won’t upload to Soundcloud or Mixcloud but will upload to Dropbox so then I just dragged it onto my desktop on the MacBook and uploaded to Mixcloud from there. 
mill have a look out for the firmware update and let u know if there are issues. Although I am abit reluctant to try it out at the moment as the mixer is performing fine and I don’t want any issues whilst in lockdown due to Coronavirus. I’ll have a look and maybe do it in the future when I can guarantee fixes will be more quick and more support on hand. Thanks anyway

I authorized it on my iPhone but it didn’t take me to the Mixcloud page like the one in this picture....I’ll try it again with my laptop on Mixcloud and go to the applications page. I’ll try it again and let u know....like I said I got it there using Dropbox but then uploaded to Mixcloud from my laptop...listened back and the record quality is superb so no problems there...I’ll let u know wen I next try it out..thanks
