Restore from Backup "failed to restore the collection"

Hi,

I am having trouble when using the restore library functionality in rekordbox 5.8.5 on windows 10.

I have performed the backup on one computer and are attempting to restore on another. When initiating the restore, I am advised that it looks as though the backup was made on another computer. I click continue and then immediately get an error "failed to restore the collection", but with no further information.

What are the reasons that could cause this error?

 

I then attempted extracting the contents of the backup and replacing the rekordbox application data folder. When launching rekordbox, I am asked to login again. Is this expected? I didn't continue with the login as I have already isntalled rekordbox on 2 machines, and clicked cancel. Therefore rekordbox didn't start.
