DDJ - 200 Head phones/Speakers out of sync

I’ve recently bought a DDJ 200 and and using along side the DJAY app.

I connect to an iPad and in turn connect the iPad to my headphones and speakers via the splitter cable.

However when using, the audio in the head phones is always ahead of the audio on the speakers by about 1/2 a second or so which makes mixing impossible.

Has anyone had similar and can advise? Is there a setting that I’m missing somewhere in the app maybe

Thanks in advance

@Jon > Are you running the audio to a stereo amplifier or other device that may have audio processing like Dolby or THX? Some of those speakers can delay the signal so if there is a "direct" or "aux" mode, that can bypass the processing and negate the delay.

@Julio > No, I think any BT4 will work, any iPad or iPhone back to the iPhone 5S era.

@pulse Hi thanks for getting back to me. I’m running a direct aux connection to a Bose soundtouch 10 speaker. It’s a Bluetooth speaker but using the splitter going direct into aux

I have a 5th generation iPad and and the software is 12.4.1

Would you recommend changing the speak based on the above info?

Many thanks

Bose runs audio processing that I'm not sure you can disable -- sorry.
