I use nested folders in iTunes. So I have a folder called Dance, which includes many manually built AND automatically built playlists.
One playlist is Dance > New Adds which is just an autoupdated list of my 300 most recent adds.
When I import "Dance" to collection (which is how I used to keep all those iTunes folders synced with RB it does n ot appear to add the new tracks. I have manually imported the tracks to the collection the drag / dropped 'em to the RB version of "New Adds" but this means it's not exactly synced with iTunes.
rekordbox does not recursively display sub-folder content in the parent folder; you'd have to bring the child contents into the parent folder as a separate playlist.
