XDJ RX2 not connecting to audio

Hi,

I run a Macbook pro updated to MacOs Big Sur Version.11.5.2

I need help to connect the XDJ RX2 and DDJSX2 on rekordbox as i am now learning how to DJ with 4 decks. I know the DDJ SX2 has 4 Channels but i wanted to try it out using it with XDJ RX2. DDJ SX2 connects perfectly to rekordbox and audio is all good but i think XDJ RX2 seems to be the problem, when i connect XDJRX2 it shows that it is connected and even tracks play thru, but it will not connect to audio, it will just stay as built-in output. I have went on the device and installed the XDJRX2 but it still does not seem to appear as XDJRX2 audio.

I need both to work together. I have been trying to connect both of them for a few days now and i have tried everything and still does not connect. I have downloaded, upgraded and updated some changes needed and i also have both decks switched to line with the line cable connected to the channels.

If anyone knows what's going on here please help me out
Thank you!

Tiago,

When you installed the RX2 drivers, did you follow the instructions here? If not, you may need to follow the steps from page 8 to uninstall, then reinstall, making sure to allow the drivers through security.

Thank you! XDJ RX2 now shows on the audio device.

Now i need them both decks working together. XDJ RX2 is connected and so is DDJ SX2 on rekordbox, I need to know which cables i need to connect properly or if there is any settings i need to change on rekordbox.

I have connected the cable to line on both decks, XDJ RX2 channel 1 to DDJ SX2 channel 1 and XDJ RX2 channel 2 to DDJ SX2 channel 2, the switches are set to line aswell. I don't know why it is still not working

Let me know

Thank you

When trying to use multiple controllers, you're going to run into potential conflicts -- my recommendation would be to set the SX2 as your audio device as it can handle the four channels on the mixer, and use the SX2 to control decks 3/4 while the RX2 can be used to control decks 1/2.

Yes that's what i have been doing, Im trying to use RX2 as channel 1 and 2 and SX2 as channel 3 and 4 but i need to know how to connect them. When both decks is connected no sound plays and the display of RX2 is empty, it does not let me select a track. Im not sure if its the cables that are wrong or not

As I said above, when running multiple controllers, there are all kinds of potential conflicts, including information not displaying on the RX2. I haven't tested this particular combination myself, but I expect there is a way to get it working, whether through the configuration or the devices or possibly just the order in which they're connected.
