As insert. When i put it in aux the input and output recieves no signal anymore.
Are you wired correctly for the audio in/out?
Everything is connected correctly. I once pulled out the USB of the rmx-1000 and then the blue LED lamp button on the top right of the djm900nx2 lights up briefly. So apparently the rmx-1000 is recognized by the djm900nx2 but I can't turn it on and off as the button lighting is not lit, only when unplugging and plugging in the usb of the rmx-1000
Wait... you have the USB connected to the RMX? You don't need that - use the audio connections only.
I had connected the usb to a usb hub to the laptop. So not the USB connected to the USB input at the top right of the djm900nx2. But breaking this connection has no effect. The blue light at the top right remains off. When I switch the rmx off and on, the light on the top right of the djm lights up blue for a while. But it goes out again. So I can't turn it on anyway.
Seb, just to confirm - the connections for the send/return (audio) should be connected properly, and then when you select a source under the beat FX section, and have the S/R set to RETURN, it should allow you to route the audio through the RMX.
I have connected the jack cables correctly. On the djm I selected 1/4 jack and insert at the top right. On the djm900nx2, you cannot select the send/return source below the beat fx. The rmx LED bars input and output indicate that music is being sent in and out. On Djm900nx2, the blue LED in the on-off button at the top right does not light up. That's why I can't turn it on. So no sound can come out of the master from the rmx.
It was a problem with the device. This has been in for repair. It was a new device, so I assumed the problem had to be something else.
