Unless there is direct sunlight shining on the vinyl you should be good.
If not, it can be bad if they remain in the sun over an extended period without shade or being stored.

I have my turntable set up by a window and the records are right below the turntable. Is this bad for my vinyl? Will this damage the goods?

Hello, the best way to store your vinyls is to standing them vertically in a safe place, without heat, sunlight and humidity
