Honestly, why you want to have this. If you turned down the bass for example and you don't see it in the waveform, you probably have no indication once you want to turn it up again if there even is one at the time of the track.
I would see this as a disadvantage, by not seeing anymore the entire waveform.
You would obivously still see the whole bassform. duh. Just look at the way serato does it. I used it for many years this way and was never cinfused about anything.
I would LOVE to see this implemented across Rekordbox. I switched from serato to rekordbox, and I miss this stylistic feature greatly. It would be even better if the colors for low mid high can be customized.
