ISSUE - Pioneer DDJ-SR2 with MacOS Big Sur

Hello,

Let me just start by saying I am a brand new Macbook user.  I have always used Windows laptops to DJ with and I recently made the switch to the Macbook Pro.  I had MacOS Catalina installed on my Macbook and it worked fine with Serato DJ Pro and my Pioneer DDJ-SR2.  Yesterday, I updated my Macbook to the latest OS, Big Sur.

After installing MacOS Big Sur, Serato DJ Pro was still working and the SR2 was still connected and the audio was working everything.  However, most of the lights including the performance pads were not lighting up.  I decided to uninstall the SR2 driver and reinstall them.  When I try to install the driver I get an error saying - "The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail.  Contact the software manufacturer for assistance".  I have not been able to find a resolution for this.

Am I getting this message because there is not an updated driver available for the SR2 for MacOS Big Sur?  Did this cause the lights to not work on the controller?  Also, if or when is there going to be support for the Pioneer DDJ-SR2 on MacOS Big Sur.

Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

Per the news announcement, we do not recommend users upgrade to Big Sur until we've been able to verify our software and hardware for compatibility; we expect to have validation complete by late December. Thank you.

Have the same exact  issue with my DDJ 1000SRT

I can't get the driver to install and so the controller is not working now.
