Does DDJ-T1 work with Mac Mojave?

I just got a DDJ-T1 controller for free from a friend, downloaded Traktor DJ 2, tried to get it working and I just can't get the controller to do anything. It lights up and everything when you plug it in, and in Traktor settings the device is recognized as an audio output. But it doesn't work at all. I'm wondering if it's too old to work with MacOS Mojave? I have version 10.14.6. Also tried downloading drivers from pioneer but the last one was updated in 2016. And on pioneer's website it says "Mac OS users:You don't have to install this driver software. Mac OS standard audio driver will be automatically installed when DDJ-T1 is connected to your Mac with a USB cable." https://www.pioneerdj.com/en/support/software/archive/ddj-t1/#drivers

please help!

Yes, it should still work. Did you go through the setup wizard in Traktor?

If that doesn't work, check the Audio MIDI Setup application > MIDI Studio window, and see if the T1 appears there. If not, create a new MIDI profile from the drop-down at the top of the window and see if it's detected then.
