This post is in response to an earlier thread I created that I am unable to respond since it was prematurely closed.
I want to the comment on pioneers response to my question about what the hold up was with rating updates from the player in which they stated: "Complexities with the new database" as the reason.
If "Complexities with the new database" was the problem then why can I add the rating from my 3rd deck which is a cdj2000nx2 and shows instantly on my 3000 and will update in rekordbox? Seems like the database is fine. Seems like the problem is with the 3000's ability to write to the database but that is unlikely the case because if so we would not be able to add hot cue's, histories, etc.... So please stop with the bs response that has zero technical merit an attempt placate us. I don't expect you to go in to the fine technical details but please don't assume we are complete idiots then just close the thread preventing any sort of real discussion on the matter.
As for my patience...... I have been patient! A year and a half patient for something that should have been included since release of these new players. I understand the company has changed hands but the lack of attention you have given to the development of these new flagship players is getting way too obvious and embarrassing. Hire some developers and get with it! Please.
A monopoly implies we're the only player in the game ... which we're not, but we aren't resting on our laurels and we do take the feedback seriously - but as was noted in the linked topic in the OP, it's not a simple implementation and we do still have these features on the "to do" list. We sincerely appreciate your patience until such time as our engineers are able to include them. Thank you,

Full ack. It is a shame how these PioneerDj flagship players are not getting the attention from AlphaTeta they deserve. Didn't they promise the possibility of new features etc. with the new powerful hw (cpu) in the future?
An now we are here, 2y later, with almost no great enhancements, even long time bugs not getting fixed.
I agree I would have figured we would be approaching "on-player analyzation" or something by now....but yet here we sit dead in the water
At this point it is just a joke. The players are two years out and only received features no one asked for. But feature requests by the actual users get ignored.
They haven't even delivered on the features they promised to be coming after the the launch like: DDJ XP2 support, day mode, on device track rating, gated hot cues.
And don't come at me that these things were never promised. Just rewatch your live streams from the product launch and you will see the reps clearly stated the features would be coming.
I really wish there was some serious competition to wake them up. But when you have a monopoly you just don't need to care about customers and promises.
