DJM 9000 nxs is not recognized in windows 10

I recently updated my mixer from firmware version 1.30 to 1.32. The update appeared to be succesful as the mixer displayed success after firmware update completed. I power cycled the mixer but windows 10 64 bit does not recognize the mixer now.  Device manager shows  "Unknown USB device(Device Descriptor Request Failed)" with a yellow exclamation mark.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the DJM nexus utiltity.  I have tried multiple USB slots on my pc and tried different USB cables. I tried the same procedure  on my laptop and got the same issue.  Can you guys send me the 1.30 firmware version so I can test and see if that is the issue?  Or If you have any other suggestions that would be appreciated.

thanks

If anyone is still having issues with the driver installation, please see this notice, which is linked in the DJM's driver download section.

Should you still have an issue which can not be resolved with the information above, please start a new ticket and we will be happy to assist.

I'd like to bump this issue as well, I have a DJM 750 with exactly the same issue and it doesn't work with other PCs either, I have tried multiple cables and each gives the same issue.

It was working previously and I haven't made any changes to drivers or firmware.

Make sure you guys have the proper drivers installed for your respective operating systems.

The drivers are installed, this had been working fine for me up until a few days ago, different cables, different computers the issue is clearly the mixer.

I do have the proper drivers installed. I did not update anything but the firmware. Everything was working prior to the update. Can you provide me with the 1.30 firmware update? I want to rule out it being a firmware update issue since thats the only thing i did to break it.  I cannot find the 1.30 firmware on your webpage only the 1.32.  You can email it to djaxelito@gmail.com. The mixer works fine as a standalone.  Windows just doesn't recognize it anymore after firmware update.

Thanks for your help.

Your suggestions did not work Kevin thanks for trying.  I need Pioneer to investigate this!!

This started happening after I updated my mixer from firmware version 1.30 to 1.32. Please Send me the 1.30 firmware version that I asked for a month ago so I can rule out it being a firmware update.   The mixer works fine as a stand alone but when  I plug it in to my windows pc I get the following errors. . I have included screen shots. PLEASE HELP PIONEER!! Send the 1.30 firmware to djaxelito@gmail.com

@Axel > You say you uninstalled the utility, but did you remove the device drivers for the DJM-900NXS?

Wit the mixer connected, open your device manager and find the DJM-900NXS. Does it show with a yellow exclamation point / triangle, or a red X on it? Right-click on that, select Properties, click the Driver tab and click the Uninstall button at the bottom. Check the Delete the driver software for this device box on the window that pops-up and click OK. Be sure to repeat for any DJM-900NXS entries on the list as there may be more than one - check under Software Devices, Audio inputs and outputs, as well as Sound, video and game controllers.

@Kevin > Your problem was you're using software which does not support ASIO drivers, which are how Pioneer DJ products interface with DJ software. Using ASIO4ALL or try Voicemeeter.

With DJM-900 utilitiy is uninstalled, I do not see any entries for DJM-900nxs in any of those places with the mixer plugged in.

What I do see is

when I unplug the mixer that goes away.  This happens on all the USB ports I try on my desktop. Also with multiple USB cables, and on a laptop that does not have as many peripherals installed.

I have uninstalled that unknown usb device but when I reconnect the mixer I get the same error:

and that unknown USB Device Returns.

This is all I have installed from pioneer:

Here is my PC info

Nothing has changed on my PC. I have not added any new drivers or installed new software or hardware. All I did was update the firmware on my mixer. 1.30. to 1.32.

Can you please try re-updating the firmware and if it still doesn't get identified, do you have access to another computer to eliminate the possibility of it being the computer vs. the mixer as the problem spot?

I have re updated the same 1.32 firmware and the mixer shows success. As stated previously in my thread I have tried it on a different laptop which has never had pioneer audio drivers. I get the same exact entry on the laptops device manager. Unknown USB device. It only shows up under Universal Serial Bus. Could you just send me the 1.30. Firmware to rule out it being that version of the firmware. As I said multiple times. It started after the update. If it fails w 1.30 then we can take another course of action like pawn this mixer and move on.

I have been requesting for Pioneer to provide me with the previous 1.30 firmware via email at djaxelito@gmail.com. I have not heard from Pioneer for over a month.  Please provide me  some support. This issue started after upgrading the firmware of my mixer from 1.30 to 1.32.  I have detailed steps on this thread about all the things I have tried.  Last thing to do, is to revert back to 1.30 firmware.

Please respond

Thanks
