Toraiz BPM/BEAT

Hi there, so i'm trying to figure out how to dictate the bpm of a sample that i've imported into the toraiz.

I've chopped up a bunch of samples, yet one of them the toraiz thinks is at half the bpm of the rest of them so it plays it at half speed. When i go to edit the bpm/beat and increase the bpm to the correct speed, the number of beats doubles, so nothing actually changes. It's pretty confusing.

Know what i mean ? Am I doing something wrong ?

Try it by bars instead of BPM?

I've had issues with some loops as well and ended up not being able to use them.

Thanks for your replies, so I went back and recut the sample so the length was bang on at the set bpm and it solved my problem. Perhaps this bpm/beat function is only meant to be used for sampling directly into the toraiz. Either way it is a bit weird how the bpm and beat are locked, so if you change one the other changes automatically.
