Every time I open Rekordbox, I get a command prompt to upgrade my version to Rekordbox from 4.0.5 to 4.5
This is fine, but I already upgraded to 4.5 the last time thatI opened the program. And the time before that, And the time before that, ad infinitum.
It seems 4.5 uninstalls itself immediately upon closing of the Rekordbox, so it asks to reinstall 4.5 again upon restart.
This is time consuming and EXTREMELY frustrating- please help
@Nick > Uninstall rekordbox through the Windows program manager / delete the app from the Mac Applications folder - but DO NOT remove any of the associated application files. Reboot your computer.
Download the latest version from rekordbox.com and install it fresh, then reboot again.
Let me know if that works.

Check that you are using the latest link to the application. Not sure if you are on a MAC or Windows, but rather navigate to the folder where Rekordbox is added to the hard drive and make sure that you are accessing the 4.5 folder, then open Rekorbox using that application launcher. This will at least clear up if that is the issue or not. Hope that helps.
