Yes; the hidden PIONEER folder and the Contents folder are which are used by the player for the database (incl. waveforms, album art, etc) and the music.
Hi all,
I am considering to buy the XDJ-RX2 to get rid of my computer when djing.I want to analyze all my songs using the rekordbox mobile app for Andorid (I don't use Windows nor IOS, and I won't do it), and then export them to the XDJ-RX2.
I know I can do it using the USB cable, however this implies that my smartphone needs to be connected all the time to the RX2. I don't want this, what I really want is the following:
I want to connect a pendrive to my smartphone (using USB OTG, I do it very often to copy files from/to the pendrives to/from my smartphone), and export all my analyzed tracks to the pendrive. Then, just connect the pendrive to the RX2. However, I don't know which files and folders do I need to copy to the pendrive in order to have all the analyzed tracks in the usb pendrive.
Is it sufficient if I copy the "PIONEER" and "Contents" folders to the pendrive? If not, which files/folders do I need to copy to the pendrive?
PS: I don't care if I need to duplicate the songs or anything similar.
I hope I explained myself clearly, I am not english-native.

Good! Nice to hear this, many thanks Pulse!
I tried this method and it works. However, I faced the following problem:
Suppose I have a pendrive containing a collection of, lets say, 1000 analyzed tracks. From time to time, I download and analyze a couple of new tracks with the Rekordbox mobile app (hence within my mobile phone), and I want to add these 2 new tracks to my pendrive's collection.
Do I have to copy ALL the "PIONEER" and "Contents" folders again? So every time I want to update my collection I have to copy all the songs again? Is there an easiest/fastest way (without using a computer)?
