Hi Dustin,
Are you running on Windows 11?
Does this only happen with tracks that are .m4a format?
I have the most current version of rekordbox connected to CDJ-3000s and a NSX2 mixer. All have the latest versions of software/firmware as of June 1, 2023. When playing a song, the volume gets noticeably louder during breakdowns/vocal/instrumental sections. It's very obvious. In fact the levels will go into the red slightly on the mixer sometimes. This has been a problem with Rekordbox for quite some time even on previous versions. I have auto gain turned on in the settings. The same track played from a USB stick will not get louder like this so i know Rekordbox is the problem. Often, it gets so much louder that i have to turn down the gain or headphones as it's noticeably louder. How can i fix this? This one problem alone has me considering switching to Serato.

No. I am running the lates OS on my M1 Pro Macbook Pro. It seems to happen on all file types, m4a, mp3, and wav.
