Pioneer DVS issue playing backwards and no hand control

I have an issue I'm hoping someone can help with. 

One of my turntables is playing backwards on Rekordbox. I've switch the leads and that's helped however when I try to control the vinyl with my hand it continues to only go in the one direction no matter if I'm pulling or pushing the vinyl. 

I'm also running a DDJ-XP2, so not sure if something may have got pressed on there that could affect this. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
