DJM 250/350 build quality comparison

Hi,

I want to purchase a DJM 250 or 350. Both have unfortunately unique features which I like from both units. Eventually I want to decide depending on the build quality of the two mixers. I am especially curious about the quality of the mechanical parts as pots and faders. Are they the same or does the 350 has better, more robust, smoother parts? How about the a/d converters in comparison? Glossy plastic means no extra quality, whereas wobbly pots for instance would be inacceptable for me.

Thanks a lot guys!

@Fotios > Both are great builds and very robust - although dubbed Pioneer's 'cheap' players they certainly don't have a cheap build feel to them. The sound is also top quality, as you would expect.

I recommend testing the units at your local DJ shop to draw your own conclusions.

Thank you Gavin. Unfortunately I don't have any reachable store which provides these two mixers. I can only order them online and I don't want unnecessaryly to have to send one back.

If one of you guys had the opportunity to see and touch them both yet, I trust your statement. So would you say that the feeling of the mechanical parts is  pretty much identical?

@Fotios > Unfortunately the DJM-250 isn't available yet so no one will be able to help you out with the DJM-250, except if Gavin or Pulse has had an encounter with it already. ;)

I've only played with a pre-production unit, but it felt solid.  I'd love to have a 250 in my arsenal; it's a fantastic and trim 2ch mixer.
