Thinking about buying a used DJM800 got a question

Hey guys, I was thinking of upgrading from my xone 42 to a DJM800, and i was wondering what I should look outfor in regards to the mixers condition? Also, does the factory warrenty transfer over from the original user to the new user? Last question, does Pioneer sell certified used gear through the website?

Thank You

I also upgraded my Xone 42 a while ago..

The things you should definetly check are all the upfaders, crossfaders, eq buttons, switches,  and connectors

Thanks for the reply. I know the mixer is a great mixer, but I just have a hard time convincing myself to let go of a spotless mint condition xone 42 which I purchased brand new and used only a handful of times in the past year for a used mixer which is possibly going to be all scuffed and scratched that can possibly have bigger issues like the faders etc.

I understand.. you could try to sell your xone and save up for a new DJM-800 if you want to be absolutely sure that it's in mint condition.

Do those still exist? I thought they were replaced by the djm-900?

@Arman > You might find some 'new' 800s in stock at different stores.

I know that Pioneer USA sells refurbished gear and that there is a limited warranty period with that equipment. I'm not so sure about Pioneer in Europe. I'll find out.

What part of the world are currently living in?

Im in the United States. Is there a site that I can find these used Pioneer equipment?

There is a guy that's selling a DJM800 locally, I am so tempted to buy it. I just really don't know if its gonna end up backfiring on me.

The Pioneer mixers are pretty solid and reliable - the main thing to check is the channel gains as they have a plastic post and can break more easily than the EQs.
