@SpeakerHandz > Have you purchased a step-down transformer to provide the gear with 110V? I would expect the power-strip saved the gear from damage.
Please place this article in the appropriate forum. I thought the mixer portion would work.
I have brought my gera from the states to china due to work reasons.
I bought a "voltage converter" and pluged into my surge protection power strip i bought in the states.
after abotu 20 minutes, the voltage converter burnt and then the gear shut off.
the surge protection power strip turned to "OFF" by it self when it happened. I immediatly disconnected all powers connecting to the gear.
I did some research (as i shouldve of BEFORE any of this happened). What i needed was a Step-Down Transformer.
Regardless of knowing what i need now. My question is does the "Burnt" convertor add issues to my pioneer gear with the way it shut down? or any known issues relating to this? this would be heartbreaking mistake i made if i have messed up my gear. I have not tried to re plug into the 220v wall, as i knwo thats instant damage to the gear.

Yes the power-strip killed it self to save my gear. So I am very fortunate to get that.
I did get a step-down transformer and its now correct. the box of my equipment does say 120V rather than 110. So i go tthe 120 V step down instead. but it is all fine, and workign well. This thread can be closed thank you
Yeah, 110/120 is pretty much the same thing. ;)
Glad to hear you got it working.
