DJM 250 problems

me and me mate have just set up and we have been mixing the all of a sudden the 2nd channel stopped working well in the sense of the term it plays but its quiet and when you push the channel up and down its a continous sound it doesn't work its all plugged in correct coz we were mixing perfect on it the it just went  has anybody else experienced this
