HDJ-2000 Suddenly No Sound

Yesterday afternoon my HDJ-2000's were working completely fine. After last night, I get absolutely zero sound out of them. Has this been a known issue? I haven't found anything about this problem. What should I do?

Try checking your connections on both ends of the cable; the mini-XLR and the 1/8-to-1/4 connector.

@Donny > Can you see any visible imperfections on the mini-XLR cable? Have you tried connecting the headphones to something else other than the mixer to make sure the problem is with the headphones?

There's no visible damage to the XLR cable and there's no sound out of anything, PC, iPhone, mixer etc.

Well, you have two choices -- you can send them in for servicing, under warranty (if under 1 year old) or buy a replacement cable (but that may not be where the issue is).  If you know someone else with a pair, you could try borrowing their cable to swap and see.

I am having the same issue. Tried checking connectors and have plugged at other devices and is not working! My local service center does not accept headphone repairs as well as the manufacture since there no more warranty. I've literally used this headphones less then 20 times and paid tons of money for it. It would be frustrating to loose $350+ (price I paid) for a product that is known as "one of the best in the market". Pulse is there any chance you can offer me an alternative??? I can send pictures to show the external condition so you will know that I have barely used it.

I have tried with a friends headphone cable and still did not work. Nothing looks damaged. I barely used this headphone. What should I do?

I did that already as I mentioned. They said they can't do anything if I don't have warranty. That's why I reached out to you to see if I could get any other help?! I don't understand why I can't get this fixed even if I have to pay for it......... Pretty disappointing to loose $350 just like that.......

@JLee > I'm sorry, I had read that already. Let me find our more information for you here to see what can be done. My guess is some cable in the left cup needs a solder. Do any of the pins in the miniXLR jack look bent our of place?

No problem! No, the pins look perfect and solid! I could send photos if you want..... just need an email for that....
