hey just got a pair of hdj 1500s, is the bass suppose to be clearer than the hdj 500s cause i found hdj 500s to have deeper bass than the 1500s, should i return them?

Lol Gavin the human ear is probably only capable to hear about 20HZ-20KHZ so that's a pointless specification.
The Impendace is the only factor , the HDJ 1500 should have a more Subby warm bass (Lower Impendance means less controlled sound).
Which means , HDJ 500 has a clearer response but the HDJ 1500 has a warmer sound.
(Soundstaging is not of importance because these are closed cans).
