So... after a little trip down to the local dj shop on monday with my 3yr old hdj2000's - they get back to me today and inform me that the internal cable is broken, hence the right channel dropping out... their pioneer agent doesnt fix them when the internal wiring has broken so you may as well throw them away.
nice to know after spending +250gbp on these headphones pioneer has washed their hands of you... top job!
