I feel the HDJ-2000s are the best built headphones out there (I've three pairs!).
Tell you what, according to the specifications, the HDJ 1500 are somewhat better than the HDJ 2000, paying € 200 more for? carcassa by? they also say that it breaks very easily

Again, what you mean by "better" is subjective when it comes to sound. Test them out yourself and see which ones you prefer. I've abused my headphones countless times and they are extremely robust.
