[SOLVED] Connecting the RMX1000 with DDJ ERGO
Hi guys, i purchased the RMX1000 and its awesome, my problem is understanding how to connect it and the ddj ergo to my pc, so that i can record my sets in vdj/traktor with the rmx's effects being recorded as well. I connected the RMX after the master output of my ERGO, it works fine in that way and affects the main signal going to my amp, which is understandable. When i tried to route(send/return) the RMX into the AUX input of the ERGO it doesnt really work. Am i wrong in saying that i have to map the RMX as an effects unit to either traktor or virtual dj so that the RMX can affect the mix in the dj software? If yes, please advise how to do this or point me to a link were i can read up on how to. My main aim is to record my sets via virtual dj or traktor with the RMX's effects being recorded as well.
Do i need a soundcard, so that the pc/dj software can recognize the RMX, and if yes please help with choosing something suitable. I only have the RMX and DDJ ERGO in my setup currently so would need to get a soundcard suitable for these.

Hey Sudeer, what does the RMX1000 cost in India? I'm assuming you are in India. I too have the DDJ-ERGO and would like to hook-up the RMX1000 to it too. Thanks.

Hey Sandeep, sorry i wouldnt know how much the RMX retails for in India as i'm from Brazil. The RMX works just fine if you use it as a direct pass through, eg. main output from your DDJ ERGO to the RMX input, then straight out to your amp. I have not found the solution to recording the RMX's effects along with my mixes performed on the DDJ in Traktor. I have recently switched my DDJ for a Traktor S4 Controller which allows me to be more creative and flexible. Thanks.
