Segui[SOLVED] Changing the way custom samples react
Is it possible to change the way samples react to touch for playback? For example the Serato sample player has 3 options; trigger, hold and on/off.
I have a "put your hands up for detroit" sample but to just get the "put your hands up" bit I need to use two hands to control the mixer fader to stop the audio as it carries on playin. It would be much easier to have a hold function where the sample will play for as long as you hold the button down.
I'm probably missing something but don't know how to sort it so help please!

Hi Gavin, cheers for getting back to me, is this on the RMX or Remixbox? I know how to use the hold function on the RMX but cant work out how to just play, for example, half a sample loaded on. At the moment I press and release sample 1 and it plays "put your hands up for detroit" in full. I would like to press and hold sample 1 for it to play "put your hands up" and when I release it, the sample stops playing. I don't know if I'm making any sense but i know what I mean haha
@Dan > I understand what you're asking, but no, there is no provision for that function on the RMX. Once the sample has been started, the only option you have is to manually disengage it. Alternatively, you could create a second copy of the sample and alter the end time within remixbox.
