SeguiCDJ-400 USB Folder Scroll Problem
Ok so i was going to play via USB's on CDJ-400's. Plugged in both 16GB USBs in both CJDs. Go to my Artist folder and scroll to benny benassi works fine. But the folder after(Katy Perry) the folder freezes, i can't see what folder i'm currently looking at, i can't scroll back to benny benassi or anything! Happens on both CJDs. Formatted my USB sticks to FAT32 and it still doesn't work, i've tried to format it with 2 partitions and also going back to firmware version 1.30 from 1.33. STILL doesn't work! I have a 8GB USB stick with music on and it works just fine! Is it something wrong with the players or the usb sticks? The worst thing is that i'm going to a dj competition on friday and playing on CDJ-2000 players. What happens if i can't see or select my music folders then?! Then i'm screwed! Please Help!

Not that i know.. Can check tomorrow!
Erhm.. not sure how i sould check for non-audio file on it.. It's like 189 folders and 1021 files!
Found the macbooks .Trasher file and removed it. But i don't think it's that becaue i've formatted it several times since i last tried if it worked or not!
@Felix > You seem to point out that the Katy Perry folder is causing freezing problems. I'd start with that folder. Check the file extensions.
Oh sorry i meant to write Beyoncé.. But it doesn't matter. I'm going to try to remove the Beyoncé folder completely and try again tomorrow. Doesn't really matter that mutch since it's not my players. But i still want to be able to practice on them! And if it doensn't work on my semi-final in april i'm so dead..
Let us know if that works. You could try analysing the files in that folder with something like mp3val to see if they are corrupt.
If it doesn't work i will try mp3val! Thanks for the tip! Posting the results tonight!
Checked today and PROBLEM SOLVED. Worked fine when i removed the Beyoncé folder. Also scanned the folder with mp3val and found out that it was Beyoncé - Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) had a problem. Replaced it with another copy and works like it should now! Thanks for the help!
@Felix > Great stuff, thanks for taking the time to test and report. Glad you got this issue sorted! Best of luck in the semi-finals!
