[SOLVED] Firmware update CDJ-200

The CDJ200 firmware updates are user updates - you get the file, burn it to CD, insert it into your CDJ and bam! Updated!

I burn the zip file or anly the .exe file on disc?

I have burned on disk the .exe file and I get ERROR on CDJ...is anything else that i didn't do?

@Sorin > In all likelihood, you don't need to update the firmware. Why do you make out you need to?

I thought is necessary to update, because is the first version on cdj. i was thinking that maybe is working better...

I'll try to find more info for you - I know very flexible fingers are required during power up.

You never use an EXE or ZIP from a device / disc for update; the player is incapable of using those files!

Grab this ISO file and burn it (not the ISO file to a CD, but use an app to burn the ISO file as a disk image).

Press and hold the TEXT MODE and WAH buttons as you power-on the CDJ.  It will show "DOWNLOAD" in the display, insert the disc into the CDJ. The display will change to "COMPLETE" when it is done. Power-off the CDJ and turn it back on.  To verify that you have updated correctly, press and hold the RELOOP/EXIT button for 10 seconds.  It should show 1.21.

After reading this I just checked my version, is says  ver. 1.40

Please can I have the iso file of 200 because as I understand it is not nothing would conclude with the exe file

If you are having playback issues its likely you just need to get your unit repaired / serviced.

but it is totally blocked but I can not understand why I always check version 1.40 you think I should take him to support true!

If that is the case, you'll need to arrange getting the unit serviced as it has likely become damaged from wear and tear.
