I have a pair of CDJ 800MK1 since 2005 ( 7 years old). I mix records between 130 -140 bpm and I got to say that even after 7 years, I still have a hard time beatmatching and guess what, it seems to get worse as time flies. I listened to some older mixes I made in 2006-2007 and my beatmatching seems to be better back then! I don't get it, can someone loose it's ability to beatmatch properly or are my tables just less accurate as time goes on? As you know, the pictch range on CDJ 800MK1 is +/- 10% (0.05 increase or decrease) is it accurate enough from records between 130-140 bpm or do I just suck at beatmatching? please help me!

@Alan > CDJs, just like a car, need to be serviced and maintained. I recommend you contact a service centre in your area to have the units serviced. It certainly could be that something is affected due to wear and tear.
