[SOLVED] CDJ 1000 Mk3 noisy CD reading!

Hello!

So recently I noticed that my CDJ's have a vibrating noise when put the CD in! But it does not happen with every CD! Just got 'Maxell' cd's and burned like 10! Some of them makes bigger noise some smaller and like one of them does everything perfect without any noise!

CDJ's does play all the songs in any of those CD's I am just worried about that vibrating noise the CDJ's makes! Not very nice feeling!

CD's were burned with 20x speed and even less (I think 16x)! I have used NERO burning rom for burning CD's.

ALL CD's BURNED WERE IN MP3 FORMAT!!!

P.S. Just tried to change the angle for deck (lifted the fron of deck for about 2 cm) and it stops giving that vibrating noise, when I put it back horizontally the noise comes back!

I will be happy for any advice!

Thank you!

@Davis > The problem is likely related to laser that has been knocked out of alignment. You'll need to take the unit to an authorised service centre for repair - tech links are in the column on the right >>

Thank you! But there is no noise with other CD's! That makes me think it might be problem with CD itself?!

Possibly the CDs you are using aren't the best either but there's definitely something hardware related not functioning properly either.

Thanks! And what could be the price for this kind of service?

well it won't be the laser out of align .... if that was the case it would have major problems reading and playing the disks, you said it plays them all fine.

might just be a mounting screw, if I were you i'd strip it down and see if theres anything obviously loose that could cause the vibration noise. CDJ's are really easy and simple to strip down.

Thanks mate! that's what I was thinking! If that was laser it would not read CD's properly! Just played around two days and it seems to be fine now!

Anyway, the Pioneer guys here are likely interested only for repairing and getting money from Pioneer users as I have popped to other topics they just give one and only answers_ '' You'll need to take the unit to an authorised service centre for repair - tech links are in the column on the right'' ! _This is not professional way of sorting things!

It's probably just a bad batch of CD-Rs, I've had them before where the hole in the middle isn't perfectly in the middle. This causes the disc to spin out of balance, hence the vibration.

They get up to quite a speed inside a CDJ. Just try some other CD-Rs
