slip mode is one of those differentiation features that set the 900s and 2000s apart. Pioneer has been open about the fact that it will not be migrating to the 2000.

CDJ-2000 slip function ???
Is there a way to implement slip function on the cdj-2000 s ? that would be so cool. i am pretty sure that a firmware update would take care of that . there are some buttons to assign to the slip feature. please pioneer do some good for us !!

No, Slip Mode will never and can never be implemented on the CDJ2000. We have made strong requests, based on feedback from these forums, for Slip Mode to be included on all future models of high end CDJs.

I gave up asking and bought a 900 to go with my 2 2000's :)
