@Lee > Congrats on the purchase! The auto-cue is designed to find the first point of audio at a specific level, so yes, it will sometimes bypass the quieter parts of an intro on a track. You can adjust this level by going into the UTILITY menu and adjusting the AUTO-CUE level setting. Test it out at various levels to see which suits your needs.

SeguiAutocue on cdj 900
Hi folks, I've just upgraded from some numarks to the lovely cdj900, now i'm sure my problem is operator error but i can't seem to find any information about it so here it goes.
when i have auto cue on it seems to jump to the first beat of the track (ie cut the silence out from the start of the song) but with some of my tracks this then puts the track out of place ie not at the start of a bar/phrase etc. if i turn auto cue off when i load a track its automatically starts playing which is not what i want and if i try to press cue to bring the track to the start it reverts to the previous song i had selected. I'm sure i'm just doing something in the wrong order etc
Any ideas on how i get around this or what i'm doing wrong?
Thanks Lee

Hey thanks for the reply i've got the auto cue on at the lowest i think its -78 but its still not enough. really i want to know if there is a way with auto cue off to select a song to play but when it loads not to start playing it and have the cue point at the start of the file wether it is silence or not? the 1000's do this so i can't see why they would change something that worked so well
On the bright side of things loving the 900's so much :)
This is exactly the same way it worked on the 1000's so I'm not sure how you believe it's different?
ok sorry about that folks i'll put this down to operator error obviously this is how the pioneers role i've only ever played on 1000's the 900s are the first pioneer gear i've bought so looks like i'll just have to get used to it
so thanks all for your replies
