Sound quality bad on new cd type?

I just bough the Verbatim Digital Vinyl CD-Rs  700MB 52Xspeed 80min. I was using Memorex before. Now I burned a few of my memorex cds onto my digital vinyls and my mixer(allen & heath xone42) plays the digital vinyls at half the volume of the memorex ones! I use iTunes to burn them and I burn my disc at fastest possible. I hope Iv done something I can fix Id hate to return all these cds =/

@DJMitchCraven1 > It's highly unlikely that it was the brand / type of CD blank that caused the volume to be different - are you always using iTunes to burn your CDs?  Have you tried using another program?  Also, I would never burn my CDs at the highest speed as there's too much potential for errors or quality problems.

+1 burn at the lowest possible speed, it will take longer but quality is alot better.

@Roy > Even burning at the lowest possible speed isn't really necessary - you can take one or two steps up from slowest and burn at that mark.

@DJMitchCraven > Are you sure you have everything setup correctly? Have you tried using a store bought music CD also? (Don't use iTunes to burn CDs (don't use it for anything other than updating my phone actually) but is there audio settings that equalize or adjust the track volume before burning? I can't remember. If so, you may want to turn those off).
