
And before someone from Pioneer replies with "based on the amount of units shipped, it isnt a common fault", please keep in mind that it is not a commonly used port, however it seems that it IS a common fault for those that actually USE the port.
Manufacturing fault maybe?
Getting mine replaced for the THIRD time this week (out of warranty this time).
Maybe its time for Pioneer to agknoweldge this as being a manufacturing fault?

they actually had a service bulletin out for this repair, make sure you repair shop knows about it and fixes it properly, Supposidly there is a new brace they put behind the usb port assembly
Does anyone have the service bulletin number, so that I can tell my repairer, so that he can look it up?

It was my actual Pioneer service rep that asked me to get the service bulletin number from here, when I told him about the post!
