Do you need one now? If yes, buy it now. There will ALWAYS be something "bigger, better, faster, shinier, cheaper" in the pipeline. The best time to buy something without a fixed release schedule is whenever you need it.

SeguiCDJ2000 Question
I was thinking of purchasing a pair of these soon but was wondering if it would be better to wait for the next model as they have been out for a few year now, or do you think the 2000's will be the flag-ship model for a while yet?
Thanks

Very true mate, i'm not despearate like, i'm still using the CDJ1000 mk3's, I would just be gutted if I just bought a pair and there was a new model out in a couple of months lol.
Pioneer never leaks information on new products and rumours are a no-no in the forums. Even if I knew something was coming next week, I couldn't say it. Have you considered the CDJ900 or CDJ850? They're equally capable in performance but lower in price!
Buy them .. you wont regret it!!
Yeah mate, I checked the 900's out they are great really liked the slip roll on them, but the 2000's with the DJM2000 or Nexus 900 is the set up for me. Think il hold off till NAMM and go from there, thanks for advice mate :-)
I had the same question just before I sold my 1000's a couple of weeks back. Go for it, Iove my 2000's! I'm using mine with a DJM 800, not quite the 900 but near enough.
So tempted mate, they are awesome like, mine 1000's have just sold on Ebay so probably not be able to wait too long to get a new pair
@Dark Energy > Buy based on what you need rather than what you hope some future product will possibly include.
@ DJ Dark Energy > Go for it man! Live for today and you'll never regret it! ;) The 2000's will rock your world!
