@Vasili I also own a corsair flash voyager GT 32Gb and also a corsair flash survivor GTR 64Gb and both work excellent.
I cant find a reason why cdj2000 can't read it.
Dimitris
I use the pioneer cdj 2000 over a year now and i recently buy two flash drivers Corsair Flash Voyager® GT USB 3.0 32gb (http://www.corsair.com/usb-drive/flash-voyager-usb-drives/flash-voyager-gt-usb-3-32gb-usb-flashdrive.html) and the cdj 2000 doesn't read it. My guestion is why the cdj 400 read this flash drive and the cdj 2000 doesn't?
Thanks.

Have you tried reformatting the drive using a non-Windows utility?
@Pulse yes i tried eformatting the drive using a non-Windows utility many times and nothing.
Only the cdj 400 reads this usb drive.
I will try again and i will let you know.
Do they have any secret partitions with encription data on them or something like this?
@Effect I really don't know but i will check it
Thanks for responding
@Vasilis Pilatos > you said you bought 2 USB flash drives. Do neither of them work on the CDJ-2000? Do you have a pair of CDJ-2000's so you could try them on both players?
I have the same problem with a Corsair flash voyager gt 64gb. Tried formatting fat32 from my pc and it did not work then I tried formatting it with my Mac and the same thing the usb red light light blinks on both of my CDJ 2000's and then it just blinks faster and nothing comes up. I have another Corsair flash voyager gt 64gb which I have not opened yet was now planning on opening it since it does not work should I sending it back? My cdj2000's are 2 weeks old just want to make sure they work because if they dont I want to send them back before 30 days to get new ones.
@Raffi > Do you know if the drive has a secret partition or software built in from the manufacturer?
If so, you will need to remove that software or secret partition to get the drive to recognize it.
Also, do you have a different USB device around that you can test?
Thanks,
Foster
I am going to pick up another usb stick from a local store and see if that works.
@DJ Raffi > Please only use one thread and do not cross post. I'll reply to you on your own thread.
Thanks,
Foster
@Foster I have tried both usb up to four cdj 2000 and nothing. Also i have tried both usb up to four cdj 400 and the worked perfect (without rekordbox database) Now i have send both usb to a engineer to check it out. I will inform you about everything that i have done after monday
hi, I have the a pair cdj 2000 since more than 1 year, i use a 500GB external hard disc, it use to work super good! suddenly all the songs in rekordbox dissapeared, I format (FAT32) my external hard disc but all my songs (aprox 2000) again on the hard disc with rekordbox and now my cdj´s dosn´t read my external hard disc! very nice!!! any help? thx and regards form the alps, austria
@Dj Hoody > How did you format your drive? With the Windows format utility?
windows 7 does not FAT32, so I did it with Partition Wizard! http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html
@Dj Hoody > I'm aware of that but as you didn't indicate which operating system you were using, I had to ask.
When you sed that utility - did you create a drive with only ONE partition?
yes, only one partiton! my external hard disc recognize my pc (windows7) but my MacBook Pro dosn´t! should I format the hard disc on my mac with FAT32?
YES! i works!!! my hard disc works now on MAC ond Pc and on my CDJ´s 2000! it was the f... freeware "Partition Wizard"! thank you a lot for the clu! now the w-end can start... all the best dj Hoody / Austria
If your Mac doesn't, I'd suspect that it wasn't formatted properly as Mac does recognize FAT32.
Buy Lexar!!! :)
I got the same problem as the topic starter. Does anyone know the problem yet? Thanks
@Maarten > Have you tried any of the suggestions in this thread?
@Pulse > Yes, I formatted the usb stick (Corsair FlashVoyager GT, 32 GB, USB 3.0) FAT32 on my laptop with Vista. It's possible to put the music on it with recordbox. But the CDJ2000's show no usb. The red light is only blinking.
@Maarten > If you formatted it with the Vista built-in tools, you should go back and try some of the suggested links in this thread for 3rd-party formatting / partition management utilities to format your drive -- TWICE -- and then try again.
You mean this one: http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html. What do i've to do exactly?
@Pulse > The progam works. I will test this USB again on a CDJ2000 asap!
1) Download the software, install it, open it.
2) Make sure your USB drive is connected and find it on the list.
3) Right click on the DRIVE icon (not on the blue bars to the right).
4) Click on Delete All Partitions.
5) Click YES to confirm.
6) Right-click on the gray bar above the word UNALLOCATED.
7) Click Create.
8) Click the drop-down for File System and select FAT32.
9) Give the drive a name in the Partition Label **field (I used **rekordbox for mine).
10) Click OK.
11) Click Apply.
12) Click YES to apply changes.
13) Click Ok on the confirmation window after it completes.
14) You're done, try exporting from rekordbox again.
@Pulse > CDJ2000 still show 'no usb'
Can you take a screenshot from the main window of PartitionWizard to show your flash drive?
@ Pulse > i thing i found why only the cdj 2000 does not read the flash drive. The cdj 2000 does not give the power that the specific usb needs to work.
please check it.
Thanks
@Vasilis > As flash drives require far less power than USB hard drives, I don't think power is the problem. I think in your case, the problem is that it's a USB3 device which is not 100% backwards-compatible.
