Well done.

Medley of xmas tracks I did - https://vimeo.com/17403012
in between the songs I leave the lights all on along with Christmas movies for about 25 minutes that play in my 2 bedroom windows as you can see to the right of the house, I transmit the audio from everything through a FM transmitter so people can sit in fornt of the house, tune their radio to a station and listen to it all
All on with movies - https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=1217185882573&set=vb.1616662437&type=3&theater

That was awesome!
hey guys, I had more time this morning so added some more videos, check em out, especially the "all on" one with the movies playing
@Hatrik - it's not dmx but can be done that way, There are a couple of companies that make these type of units for places like Disney, The one I use is animated lighting, I have 2 - 16 channel boxes so i can use 32 channels to divide lights up to and they have software, the one I use is called Maestro, You can drop an mp3 track in, it gives you a detailed waveform and you program where you want each channel/light to turn on/off/dim, etc.... It is very time consuming but it is something I love to do so I dont mind it at all. Let me know if you need any info on it if you're interested. They do carry DMX boxes also to use intel lighting but I am not up to puttin $2000 martin lights on my lawn, lol
@Rob D, thank you!
Good work BriChi!
You may as well take your Nexus CDJs apart and use the LED lights from them :)
hahahahahaa, might as well!
Amazing! I would love to to the same with my house, but not this winter... I've invested to much in my DJ gear already lol :)
LOL Leeee
lmao Leeee!
Amazing work BriChi!!! Now I look at my random xmas lights and I have the same feeling I have when I look at my CDJS lololol.
OMG! It's confrimed brichi has lost it. He took it out on the house because pioneer did not fix the cdj nexus!
LOL,,, thanks guys and yes, I took all my frustrations from the Nexus and put them aside, Occupied myself technology wise by programming and testing my house instead of the players for a couple of days!
Thanks very much for the info BriChi, I'll do some research! Again, top effort!
anytime man, thank you
Looking good as always Brian!
Thank you Gavin!
@BriChi, looking at the animated lighting 16ch controller, just the one at this point... what current rating do you recommend? 15A, 30A or 60A? I plan to use all LED lighting.
Does your sequencing program run from a computer to the controller via ethernet cable or do you use some other arrangement?
Is Maestro 'plug and play' with the animated lighting controller?
Thanks again in advance!
I have 2 boxes, 1 I did 30amp because I have a lot of rope lighting all around the roof, windows and doors which drew a lot of current, the second box is 15amp with mainly the arches I built and that works fine. If you are just doin LED lighting, the 15 amp should be more then enough
the sequencing i programmed on Maestro (which may be called something else now, it's been years since I looked), It runs on a pc only and then you run out of the serial port of a computer (if you dont have a serail port they sell serial to usb converters which is what I use), to this box on their site
RS-485 Converter Board on this page: http://www.animatedlighting.com/products/AccessoriesRevA.asp#Converter_Board
then that box goes cat5 to the box, not sure why you cant just go ethernet from laptop to box but this is what I bought, the software looks like it only looks for the standard com1, com2 ports so that could be why.
It's pretty plug and play, you do have to go into device manager and look at what COM port you are using and then go into maestro's settings and tell it that so it communicates, but it is pretty easy if you have any computer/tech knowledge.
Best thing I would do honestly if i was you is call the company, they are really really nice and cool to deal with, I had called them with a minor issue I had with a meastro update and they solved it in 2 seconds and even followed up with me a week later. they would definitely send you everything you need and put you in the right direction
anymore help I can be, let me know!
So much win.
@BriChi, as usual, you fail to disappoint! Cheers mate, I will give them a call...
anytime man, thank you
