Rate on the go for pro dj link on cdj 2000 nexus

Hi. Is there any way we can get rate on the go when using pro dj link as less messing about with the PC is always good. As far as i can see it only works with exported tracks on USB. It would be handy to rate as you play them to avoid having to go back to rekordbox to star them. colour change via nexus units would be great too but rating would be a good start.

Have you enabled "Allow Track Analysis while LAN connected" in the preferences settings of rekordbox?

Hi Gavin,

 

Thanks for getting back. Yes this function is enabled in RB. I have tested again and as you change the stars on the PC they change visibly on the CDJ not vice versa this seems locked. Also to change colour of tracks RB has to be disconnected. This is a bit of a pain? if this could be changed in the next update it would be greatly appreciated. Those with large music collections can get through the rating of the tracks much easier if it all can be done as you play them.

 

The colour system is a great function, but it seems that as you can do almost everything else on the CDJ ie beat grid and adding loops and cue points, it seems a shame that you cant use such a simple but useful function while connected.

Stil no fix for this?? :-S Over a year sins the request.

I always use Link from Rekordbox on my laptop to my CDJ´s, and its a pain in the ... that i can't use rating on the go!

Am i missing something that allow me to use Rating on the go in Link mode?
