Segui[SOLVED] Advanced HID operation for CDJs
how about pioneer put a bit of pressure on native instruments to get this implemented. the thread about this on NI's forum is approaching twenty thousand views (!) so it's hardly a niche request.
there seems to be a good dialogue between the 2 companies on certain aspects of their product lines and pioneer seems to be able to persuade
native instruments to stop certain competitor mixers from being scratch certified now so how about using your sway positively and making sure advanced HID is introduced soon. serato have done a great job.

+1 for Hid Cdj 850
Why not click the "Me too!" button instead of replying with a +1?
The implementation is entirely up to NI and I doubt they'll spend any time or effort for it when they have their own hardware that they're trying to push.
Sorry Pulse
In the mobile version i dont see the me too button ;(
Sorry
Ah - interesting!
I hope so in the New Traktor Version is the Cdj 900/2000 HID Advanced Mode!!!!!!!!!
cdj2000 nexus & djm 900 traktor scratch does not connect thru usb ? can anyone help
it seems making hid support is something pioneer has to do from what I have heard...
isn't it possible to somhow implement cdj2000 hid to xdj1000 cdj900?????
@ali > I'm not sure what you're asking...?
He thinks that HID mode implementation is part of the Pioneer sw in the CDJs that have them and is asking if it's as simple as just taking that code and adding it to the xdj's sw code so that it can have HID mode.
HID mode is more than just one line of code and it's not just on Pioneer's end. As you can see from past, Serato had HID support for a CDJ before NI did for Traktor. Having HID support in any given product for specific software requires work from both ends to ensure it functions properly. Much like Pioneer DJ products are currently undergoing OS X Yosemite driver certification and updates, once Pioneer releases a hardware product the software manufacturers won't necessarily have HID support ready to go as they must first receive production samples and test the interface with the hardware, then update their public versions of the software.
All in due time.
