It's leaps and bounds above the DDJ-SB and DDJ-SB2. While you may feel the pitch faders are rather small, I believe you will love this piece of kit.
Hi guys. I am considering buying a DDj RB, as i am wanting to use Rekordbox, but don't have the money to get the XDJ RX, which is what i really want! This would serve a purpose though and allow me to compile a Rekordbox library and practice at home and record mixes etc. I sold my cdj1000s and replaced them with a Denon Mc3000, which has been good but leaves me having to take CDs when i play in the bars and clubs in town. I am not expecting anything mind blowing in terms of build quality and features at this price and i sees that the pitch faders are crazy small which isn't ideal, but for 200 quid, it seems like a no brainer to get into the rekordbox world of djing. Any advice would be greatly received, especially from people who have used the unit. Thanks in advance.

Hi Andrew
I bought the DDJ-RB only a few days ago, it's a great piece of kit! It's everything you'd expect from Pioneer and more, especially for £189! I'm still getting used to Rekordbox DJ as I've only ever used CD's but I guess in time I'll learn more little tricks and short cuts etc with the software that I can use to my advantage, as with the controller.
It's perfect for messing about on at home which is exactly what I bought it for.
