How to disable home made CD's?

Hi, in our club we don't want bad quality sound, because we've spended too much money on our soundsystem to have DJ's with low quality sound taken from internet (youtube for example).
So, this is wahat we need:

1. Disable the USB input (now it's done with a metal strip to prevent DJ's use MP3)

2. This is the most important case: Disable home made CD's. How can that be done? We only want original CD's in our players!!

Sorry, it is not possible to disallow the use of CD-R's.

Just so you know, it IS possible to use WAV, AIFF and other lossless compression formats on both home-made CD's AND USB drives.  Your best bet would be to not book DJ's who play low-quality tracks.

Lol that was kind of funny ;)

But I have to agree with Mark any respectable Dj worthy of playing in a club shouldn't be ripping tracks from YouTube. I've never played a club but wouldn't dare do anything like that I even try avoiding Ripping a Vinyl track that's not available on MP3 it always sounds rubbish.

You're completely right, and there is no problem with the peak time DJ's. It's just for beginners and wannabes. There is not enough sight on what they do. OK they do it for free, but it should be handy if the players could be modified to disable unwanted files. On the other hand, it should be possible to disable all illegal music.
Bringing the CDJ's in the beginners pool is just a failed experiment. Coming back on the good old vinyl to fix this problem. Too bad for the DJ's with original CD's

Not sure what your ripping process is but I've recorded all my vinyl, left them as wav files and they sound great, just like vinyl.
