DDJ RR - Mac Speakers - Crushing noise after 5-10 Minutes

Hi,

I have a DDJ RR. When I use the Mac internal speakers, I hear a crushing noise after a couple of minutes playing. When I then press pause and play again the noise disappears again. After some minutes, I experience the same again.

Thank you for your help?

Kind regards,

Peter

I have exactly the same problem . Now have in the settings Buffer values increased to 2016 / 45.7 ms . This occurred so far not on , but the impact of this adjustment on the sound ?

@sheriff_78 > Ensure that you don't have any other background applications running which may affect the performance. If you have your value lower, do you ever see buffer level indicator reach full? (It's located below the clock in rekordbox.)

Hi,

I doubled the buffer to 1024. No apps running in the background.

The crushing noise still keeps coming back after a while.

Any other ideas?

Hello again. An addition for troubleshooting: When I hear the crushing noise, I turn off the power of my DDJ RR and the noise stops immediately.
