Audio low and distorts when using dual deck

Hello

I have a djm s11 and was starting to use the deck move and dual deck.

However, when I swap deck to 2 to deck 3 and then hit dual deck the audio on Deck 3 becomes low and distorted.

I also happen the other way around when I move deck 1 to 4 and the do the dual deck.

Please if anybody know how to fix this issue ill appreciate it.

Hey boss,

I've never heard of this issue with the S11. Does it happen with any song you might be playing and moving around? That's really weird. I would try updating the firmware on the S11, but before that resetting it back to factory defaults from the screen on it.  See if the factory reset fixes it and if not, then try the firmware update. Even if it's already on the most recent firmware. Make sure to let the firmware update complete and don't turn off the S11 to avoid bricking it. Please report back what happens. L8r!

Hey

Thanks for responding and for the suggestion but none of it worked.

I did the factory reset first. Same issue

I did the firmware reinstalled. Same issue.

I made sure that I was running the most latest Serato version.

It's the only thing that's not working so I'm really wondering if it's a motherboard issue,

The Swap deck is fine but the moment I hit the Dual Deck the 3 or 4 deck audio sound like its has a low pass filter.

I notice this cause I swapped a deck that was playing an accappella  and when I hit the dual deck it sounds mute.

Also turning off the dual deck doesn't bring the Audio back.

I'm having the same issue. i can load tracks to decks 3 & 4 and the sound is good but as soon as i push the dual deck button to combine it with deck 1 or 2 the track playing on 3 or 4 gets low with lots of base. for example:

i'm playing a song on deck one and two. i move deck 1 to 4 by pressing the move deck button. as soon as i try to combine decks 2 and 4 by pressing the dual deck button, the sound on deck 4 gets very low and full of bass. if i try loading a new songs into deck 4 it also sounds low and full of base. the only way i have found to get back to being able to load tracks into decks 3 and 4 and hve good sound quality is to power the mixer down and turn it back on again.

Hey,

I may have some good news if it works the same for you.

I was talking to Pioneer support for about 2 weeks and they had me do several things to try and resolve the issue. However, I did have a backup 2012 Macbook, and when I tried Deck Move and Dual Deck  EVERYTHING works fine.

So I deduced that its something wrong with the software on my regular 2021 Macbook Pro. Long story short, I uninstalled the DjM drivers then plug in the laptop to the mixer and turn the mixer on then once I launch Serato it's going to prompt me to reinstall the driver. When it's done I restarted the Mixer and then everything worked again.

Let me know if this works for you. I'm still testing but so far it's working fine

Hi I am having the same problem,

Unfortunately a factory reset and new hardware install hasn't fixed it.

Have deleted drivers and will try again in the morning, would prefer not to send it back as I had to wait three months for it to arrive.

installing the latest version of serato fixed this issue for me. the latest release of serato addresses this. try upgrading your current version of serato to the latest release. hope this works for you as it did for me.
