Sorry, this function is not available, but as a work-around you could store your loop as a hot loop, then simply call that hot cue (hot loop).
I do use multiple loops in a track but Rekordbox/CDJ just allows one active loop to be set. It would be a great feature to have the ability to switch the active loop on the cdj itself while the song is playing so that i can have an in-loop to mix in the song at the beginning and and out-loop for mixing out of it on the fly.

I think it is not difficult to program multiple active loops per track. That would be a good feature. I thought it was possible but discovered today when I activate a loop at the end of the song, the previous becomes inactive :-(
By the way, an active loop is triggered if the start point of that loop is reached UNLESS the start point is triggered by a hot cue. Is that the way it is supposed to work, or is that a bug? I was confused that my hot cue did not trigger the active loop as they are programmed on the same "cue point"
Correct; only one loop can be active at a time. You can store as many hot loops as you want (up to the max of 16 hot cues), but only one active loop (as this is a limit of the memory points).
Not sure why the hot cue wouldn't have triggered the active loop, it could be due to the fact they're on the same frame, but I can't be certain.
It would be good if the next chronologic cue loop becomes active if you exit a previous one. So multiple active loops would be a good future idea. Please suggest this to the engineers.
I guess the non-paid version only has 8 hot cues (from A to H), not 16.
Thanks!
Correct; performance mode unlocks the other 8 (which is also a nuisance, given that a DJ may use those pads in performance mode but then not have them available at all - not even to move - in export mode).
