Hello Jova,
Is it only happening with this particular Hard drive? Can you try the search option on a smaller size drive and see if it still freezes.

Toraiz Freezes
I was using my external hard drive on the Toraiz as usual and decided to search for some string samples, using the text search for the very first time i typed strings and 1 string sample showed at first but it kept searching then it froze for a while about 15 min. then more showed up about 10 string samples but it did not stop there i knew i had more so it kept on searching and completely froze not letting me eject the drive or anything,waited for about 1 hour and decided to pull the plug because it just wasn't doing anything,any suggestions anyone?
Hard drive is 1tb but has about 150gb of samples in it

I am having a similar issue with a 32gb flash drive. here is what i see:
1. The toraiz cannot read files >1000
2. If the files have multiple sub folders then the read time is slow and it occasionally hangs/freezes. I cant say whether its reading or just dead. I rebooted.

hey creme,yes it has been only this drive,so far i haven't experimented these issues on the other smaller drives yet,also i made sure there wasn't 1000 files per folder or too many sub folders i stopped using the search because it keeps on doing this on the 1TB drive which is the one i really wanted to use because i have a lot of GB of samples,the 4GB has not showed any signs of freezing yet but way too small.

I have a same issue with a 16 GB flash drive while loading samples from sub folders which have approx >600 files. Please fix it in next firmware.

this also happened to me when i tried to select a wav. file that i have put into the main sound bank myself. I also had to shut it off and turn it back on..

Toraiz froze again but this time i was not using text search mode i was scrolling down looking for a sample and it froze and i lost the whole project about an hour into it ,hey creme how about an auto save feature for a suggestion that would help a lot,thanks
